C/ Figueretas, 18 ,Mataró

This property is situated in a pedestrian area.  It is characterized by its wide façade, irregular shape and light construction.  The wooden beamed ceilings have been preserved to give warmth and comfort.

This property lies in the centre of Mataro next to a square with a nursery, where you can breathe an atmosphere of peace and quiet.  It is a house between median its over 100m2 is spread over ground floor and two upper floors.  The width of the façade and the irregular shape of the floors makes this property unique compared to its neighbouring properties.

The renovation project designed for this property was based on enhancing these singularities.  The project was to make openings in the façade to maximize light and cross-ventilation of the interior spaces.

Downstairs the interior walls were removed, creating a single open space containing the kitchen on one side and the living room on the other, the staircase now being in the centre of the two areas and acting as separator.
